anyways this one is for all you hipster shaking lovers. i couldn't keep these pics from Get Hustle at tilburg holland for myself. yhis was the second time i got to see them after the show in the pits, it was waay better the second time. Like a punk soul diva they got people dancing. Good show, good band, loved their record. glad to have seen them. enjoyed the tattoos as well.

viva el vegan straight edge

I was just hanging out checking out what is up with my favorite vegan straigh edge band Nueva Etica. And came across this band called x Linha de Frente x from Brazil. I love vegan straight edge from Brazil. Now seems like these guys putted things to the maximum and they've released a music video. Except some cheesy mosh moves i have to say that I kind of like this, the reflections of tattoos, x-ed up hands, chopper bikes and kids singing along "vegan straight edge". As far as you know or little know about the political situation in Brazil hardcore kids have to face, they seem to take these further and harder than most of us can or ever will, despite of the hard times and the political situation they're going through. I love this video. Keep it edge. Give it up for the most cheesy "vegan straight edge" video ever seen.

Right now you can get your hands on the Kingdom cdr a new side project coming from members of Amen Ra. The demo comes in a neat jewelcase which is spraypainted in white and has a neat sticker on the front. Giving the whole thing an elegant mena feel. Inside the lyrics come on calque paper. john wiese in gent

Today was a special day as John Wiese played Gent. I've always been a big fan of his stuff , seen him two years ago when he came over with Sunn O)) and when he opened up for them. Although I hate hyped up monked dronemetal. John Wiese has always been one of my favorite noise artists next to Merzbow, Masonna, Bastard Noise, Kevin Drumm and a couple of more. Great to have him in our city, but my batteries sucked rotten eggs and gave up just after two pictures. He played a short intense set. I loved it. Up next was Ray Jewell who blasted out some lo-fi generated experimental noise. Good stuff. Nights are getting cold....but this city rules.
