This morning I got this Revelation Records e-mail, thought the Shai Hulud content in here was hilarious, but it took me back to H20 a band I seem to have forgotten for way too long, the message is good and I'm into it. Better than any Gorilla Biscuits reunion.
RevHQ.com News - June 6, 2008
Last week we thanked Shai Hulud's guitarist Matt Fox for the
show of Revelation Records support by wearing two different Burn
shirts in two different magazines. Now we have to be fair and
thank Shai Hulud bass player Matt Fletcher for continuing the
support by sporting his Gorilla Biscuits long sleeve in the most
recent Alternative Press (#240). (Thanks Matt.) In the same
issue you can check out the article about Youth Of Today as one
of the 23 bands that shaped punk as we know it today. In the
article, Anthony Hurley of Fall Out Boy credits Revelation
Records as the first hardcore label he ever got into.
Finally, we'd like to thank H2O for flashing a copy of Gorilla
Biscuits' "Start Today" in their video "What Happened?" off
their latest release "Nothing To Prove," which was filmed in NYC
Generation Records. Check out the video here.
