it sucks when you don't have taste

This blog has been around for over a little than a year now. it feels good to have an outlet where you can ramble on about anything what's on your mind. And this blog should be the way to throw out shit on records, trips, hardcore, stuff i've been working on and other things of interest going from art to fucking japanese hardcore and punk and politics. Anyways...there's some exciting stuff to look forward to, and coming up. While the summer will be a blast! More updates, ramblings, clevo hardcore, food issues and politics coming up. Stay the fuck in, or stay the fuck out.

The local Japanese supermarket is one of the few places i've been hanging out more and more. Taking shitload of time on going through packages of noodles, japanese tea, loads of weird drinks and lemonades, tofu and soy products. The packagings are often interesting, and the tastes and combinations are weird and unusual. If you're in for excitement check out your local Japanese supermarket. Those things rule. Today I have been sipping for hours on two different cans. However, after some research these drinks are Korean and not Japanese. So the first one being "soojeonggwa" which is drink restaurants serve after dinner with some peanuts in it. It tastes very sweet , this so called healthy beverage Korean Traditional " Sweet Cinnamon Punch". Too much sweetness for me. Up next is the Korean Traditional " Rice Punch", been sipping on that one for a merely one hour and a half. Tastes very sweet, has a weird rice taste that feels like it's been sugared as hell. The rice takes you by surprise when you finally hit the bottom. So shake those things up. Both are beverages, not really softdrinks. Both the cans look sweet. Might become a collector.

Skate Corpse : discography
LP Punks Bfore Profits Records

Definitely one of the records that while make it through the summer. Finally found this record in a distro on the ANS show. This is rad eighties sounding hardcore/punk mixed up with surf music. This record has been pressed up to only 300 copies, and haves some unreleased stuff on it, the first side more punk, the other side hald surf instrumentals. Charming record. If you come around this one, pick it up.

Desolation : s/t
LP Prank Records (red wax)

Bough this record a while ago in Prague. However got to play this raging japcore record for the first time, this month. Raw raging punk/hardcore, still need to get those Crow records, but this one is an excellent filler. With rad Japanese artwork by Sugi who did a lot of classic japanese hardcore/punk sleeves.

Framtid: Under The Ashes
LP Black Water Records 2002

Fuck. Definitely on eof the bands who blew away on Trashfest this year. Framtid is an amazing d-beat/hardcore punk japanese outfit. Spiked and patched political peace punk, full of filth and desperation . The whole thing sounds raw as fuck, and I can't get enough from stuff like this.

V/A Tunes For Fucker : Vol. 2
LP Tunes For Fucker Records / Bootleg

So it is a bootleg LP. Crammed with four classic out of print and rare Japanese hardcore/punk gems. This stuff sounds evil raw and fucked. Love this stuff with eighties Japanese hardcore, comes with a sleeve with all the info on the original labels and inserts. Somedbody, help me out finding vol. 1 to complete the collection. Recommended.

Arabian Love Songs
LP High Frequency Records

Found this one for a merely 50 cents. This is a collection of Arabic folk songs, Bedouin tribes and camelherders. And a whole lot more stuff representing the Arabic world. All of the music was originally recorded in the Middle East. It has been released on Request Records, probably around the seventies. Awesome record that came straight out of Israel. Getting out early out of bed to go for record hunting is worth every effort.

25 Years Of Israel In Sony
LP Israel Records

Can't read anything from this record as it's completely written in Israelic. It's a compilation that represents 25 years of their music and has some interesting folk, psych, sixties/seventies prog going. Can't tell more about this one, good stuff anyways.
